
The Canadian government website Voyage.gc.ca is advising travellers new regulations are set to take effect March 1, 2010, that will require them to have a vaild passport when entering or leaving Mexico.
This requirement will change on March 1, 2010. As of that date, Canadian citizens, including those with dual nationality, will be required to present a valid passport in order to enter Mexico. Canadians without a valid passport will be returned to Canada.
Although there has been no official confirmation from the Government of Mexico, travel agents are encouraging clients to ensure they have up-to-date passports.
