The Palladium chain has expressed interest ahead of its expansion in the Caribbean and especially in Mexico.
The Palladium Group owned by the Matutes family is already working on the project, which will be developed on land also recently acquired. The works will begin early next year 2016 and already has the support of the Mexican authorities.
As collected HOSTELTUR news tourism in an interview with its general director, Abel Matutes Prats, titled Matutes: “Under normal conditions the situation in North Africa will suffer many hotels”, published in March, the chain keeps its expansion process with an investment of more than 165 million on renovations.
With respect to this Latin American region Matutes said that “we are looking for in the Caribbean, where we want to increase the current number and Grand Palladium Royal Suites and we will soon have the first Ushuaia in the region, so we are looking at Miami, Mexico, etc. Purchases of land we are going to do this year, but none of these hotels will open in 2015. Mexico interested mainly, but also many other places such as Aruba and other islands which are interesting”.
