For the 8th year in a row, the Riviera Maya will be celebrating the Jazz Festival. If you are a Jazz Lover come and join us on September 4th in Tulum.
This year’s featured artists include La India, Eddie Palmieri and Ayaja Orta.
Entrance is free! Doors open at 6:00 pm. Concert starts at 7:00pm.
Born in Spanish Harlem in 1936. Eddie Palmieri, known for his charismatic power and bold innovative drive, has a musical career that spans over 50 years as a bandleader of salsa and Latin Jazz orchestras. With a discography that includes 36 titles, Mr. Palmieri has received a series of prestigious awards, among them nine Grammy Awards.
A restless, yet instinctive artist, embraces the future of his music by unapologetically blazing a distinctive musical path to the delight of fans across the globe. He has one of the most actively touring salsa and latin jazz orchestras to date.
This quartet is a novel grouping conformed by two pairs of brothers that unload through their music, all the force of a genetics filled with musical talent and charisma. They were known in Costa Rica, during FIA in 1991, a memorable presentation with Paquito de Rivera and Giovanni Hidalgo like special guests. At the moment they are been in Miami, one of the Mecas of the Latin Jazz in the world where at the present time they are some of the recognized musicians more in the musical scene of this beautiful and fascinating metropolis.
