Privately held Skyservice Airlines has shut down its operations after a Canadian court appointed a receiver. The charter airline said it was unable to maintain its business due to changes in the Canadian vacation tour market and high debt.
A notice on the operators website read:
On March 31, 2010, FTI Consulting Canada Inc. was appointed as Receiver pursuant to an Order of the Ontario Superior Court of Justice of all the assets, undertakings and properties of Skyservice Airlines Inc.
