Re: On site activities
It may not be listed but I saw people playing volleyball in the Sin Postales video from a couple months ago. The guests might have brought their own ball. I don't know. However the area did look so much better then before without the vendor stands setup. Everyday a ball would go sailing into one of ...

Re: SUMMER SALE!
Im not old enough in Mexico to get vaccinated yet. They are only vaccinating the 60 + atm. They dont have enough vaccines or the means to vaccinate everyone and the next round of vaccinations are going to be a hodgepodge of vaccines from China, Russia and India or any country willing to sell or give...

Re: SUMMER SALE!
Good prices with this sale. I cancelled and rebooked once again. No idea when we are going. May looks pretty much out of question now since I am going to fly to the states and get vaccinated. Maybe June , if not then September.

Re: Get Together Chat??
I really hope the Kantenah is open. We got a really good price for the romance suites.
We might not be going though. Just depends on the vaccination schedules. We wouldn't make it to the party though. My wifes birthday is on the 13th so we fly out a couple days before.

Re: BEST PRICES ALL YEAR!
I think the discount is greater for those of us living in Mexico that can book with a Mexican IP. I booked a regular room at the Colonial for $144 US a night during Mid May with the discount for the Party. That is the cheapest price I have seen the Colonial in many years! I don't know if it makes se...

BEST PRICES ALL YEAR!
Booking through the website they have finally dropped the prices making the resort super competitive with other resorts! For those of us in Mexico with Mexican IPS, right now I am getting the best prices I have seen since the pandemic stated last year and the Palladium resort dropped their prices wh...

Re: Excursions
I have never booked through the resort. It is always cheaper to do this on your own. I know of a fantastic tour group that always gets high ratings on trip advisor. I booked a tour with them last December for my son when he was on his college graduation trip and he loved it. https://alltournative.co...

Re: Update on Get Together Dining Options
If you are staying at the TRS you could probably get the ebutler to setup a dinner at one of the open restaurants that night. There is a buffet open for breakfast, lunch and dinner every day. You would be able to eat there. I don't know where you are staying but count on from 20 minutes to an hour t...

Re: Bringing your own wine
You can bring up to 6 bottles of wine per person into mexico. I haven't seen on the customs forms that you would have to declare duty free items that everyone is allowed to bring, but do not go over the amounts or you may heavily fined. Especially with cartons of cigarettes.

Re: Akumel
I know since people come on package deals that it's not possible, but I would just book a one night stay at the Barcelo Maya resort. They have a small area with seagrass and the turtles just keep coming in to feed. You can watch them all you want and nobody in a canoe is going to come along and tell...

I guess everyone can consider as a tip to the Quinanta Roo government. They need the money for sure though
with all the Hurricanes and Sargassum cleanups they have had to deal with the last few years.

Re: Cenote
Just watched the video. They definitely got the Royal Treatment, although they were not allowed to use the pools at the TRS side they were allowed to film them. The resort looked pretty empty while they were there. I was glad to see some of the staff still there - (Didi from the Pop team) and I reco...

Re: Cenote
I watch alot of their videos! "Sin Postal" . I am surprised that video has not come up for me on youtube since I am subscribed to them! They are video bloggers who have been traveling Riviera Maya going to different resorts and theme parks. They have videos of the Hard Rock, Barcelo, Holbox, Tulum e...

Re: Cenote
We went to Sandos Caraol Eco. They have a large swimmable Cenote and a small one like the Palladium. They are both swimmable but you need to shower off before going in. They need to protect the floura and fauna. I don't see any stairs going down to the Cenote at the Palladium. It wouldn't surprise m...

Re: Pools In December
I knew you would have all the info on the pools June! I forgot about the Spa Pool being nice and warm.
I have never been in Rinconcito pool and did not notice that La Terraza was heated.
Its usually warm when we visit.
